🎙️ Want to Join Ore Stone Radio? We’re Looking for New DJs! 🎶
Hey there! So… we’re on the lookout for fresh voices and great music to join the Ore Stone Radio family. If you’ve got personality, passion, or DJ skills (or all three!), this might be your chance.
We’re currently looking for two very different types of DJs:
Local Volunteer Presenters
Devon & Cornwall only…
We want people with something to say. Got local stories? Community news? Interesting chat between tracks? Perfect.
This is ideal if you’re from Devon or Cornwall, love your community, and want to host a show that keeps people listening. It can be music-focused, but we also want personality, conversation, and local flavour.
Your show could include:
✔️ Your favourite music
✔️ Local news or events
✔️ Interesting topics or interviews
✔️ Anything that keeps people engaged
If you’re reliable, love radio, and want to build your voice on-air—we want to hear from you! You’ll have full control over the music you play (as long as you supply us with a tracklist for licensing—this helps artists and musicians get paid).
We’re pretty flexible too. You could do a daily show (Monday to Friday) or just a weekend slot. Whatever suits you best.
You will need software to broadcast music and a decent microphone. The good news? The software is free and fairly easy to use. We’ll also send you a full video guide before you start. And if you’ve got any questions or run into problems, just shout—we’re here to help.

We are not looking for perfection, so do not worry about the quality, we can work with you to improve that. We just want to heart you..
Pre-Recorded DJ Sets
These sets will feature during our After Dark schedule, perfect for club-style mixes, late-night grooves, or other creative sets.
We’re looking for DJs who can pre-record quality sets and provide a full tracklist in advance (we need this for licensing).
Genres we’re especially keen on:
✔️ House
✔️ R&B
✔️ Hip-Hop
✔️ UK Garage
✔️ Drum & Bass
✔️ Or anything that fits our After Dark vibe
You don’t need to be local for this—just bring your best mixing skills.
All sets should be an hour long, minimum.
